It is also to be noted that video recovery fundamentals are not covered by this manual. Understanding of some aspects described herein may require a sufficient level of technical expertise and background knowledge. When you are not certain about the adjustments to be taken, the best strategy is to continue with the standard defaults.

How to navigate the manual

The manual has a section-by-section format. The related sections are grouped into parts identified by the heading of the first level:

  • Introduction – gives a summary of the program’s features, its technical requirements and licensing specifics;
  • Getting started – describes the steps that are necessary to put the program into use, including its installation, license order and activation;
  • Video recovery process – provides guidance for each stage of the video recovery procedure, from the choice of a storage to saving the recovered videos;
  • Other operations – informs about additional operations that can be performed using the program and facilitate data recovery.

Each part of the manual comprises several sections. The heading of the section characterizes the subject this given section is devoted to, for instance:

Most sections, but for very short ones, consist of a number of chapters. They are meant for easier orientation in the content of a section and are denoted by the heading of the third level, for example:

In order to go to the necessary section, first and foremost, open the part of the manual it refers to by clicking on the corresponding heading in the navigation pane on the right side. After that, choose the required section from the list, or simply click on a heading of a chapter to move to specific content straight away.

Below you can see the Table of contents that fulfills the same function as the navigation pane.

A section can be browsed using its own content table situated at the beginning or by scrolling the page down. Some sections may also have internal links or links to other sections that are intended for quick navigation.

Each page of the manual is arranged according to the following styling convention:

  • Red bold style is the name of a section in the user manual;
  • Blue bold style is the name of a chapter in the section.
