Data recovery for NAS
Network-attached storages (NAS) have emerged as a handy technology enabling shared access to a storage in the environment with a large amount of information. These systems found their principal implementation among corporate users who often require a general centralized storage available for several workstations. Being an advantageous solution for data backup and access needs of more than one computer, compact NAS devices have also gained wide popularity among home users.
Despite high reliability, NAS systems, like any device, are exposed to failures and outages which may lead to the loss of crucial information. Normally, NAS devices don't provide access to the storage, except for NAS with iSCSI protocols. Thus, to recover data from a NAS, it's required to get disks out of the device and connect them to a PC for recovery.
UFS Explorer Professional Recovery is a comprehensive solution for the retrieval of data lost from NAS. This software recognizes most presently applied file systems including those of NAS systems. Another software tool, UFS Explorer RAID Recovery will be helpful when NAS disks are organized into a RAID-system.
