RAID Access Plugin - VIM Import product is designed to enable Runtime Software virtual images files (VIM) support in UFS Explorer and Raise Data Recovery products. The module is optional and could be installed and purchased separetely on demand.

The RAID Access Plugin - VIM Import is the UFS Explorer product extension, specially designed to import Runtime Software Virtual Image files to UFS Explorer. It supports any Virtual Image files, created with Runtime Software products, including complex RAID configurations.

The module allows to open .VIM files created with Runtime Software products with UFS Explorer or Raise Data Recovery products and access or recover data from this kind of virtual images.

General Software Use:

UFS Explorer Standard Recovery version 4.5:

You do not need to download the software as it is already distributed with UFS Explorer. The module creates "Import Runtime Software VIM file" menu option under 'Plugins' button.
UFS Explorer Standard Recovery version 4.0..4.3:

Install the software to UFS Explorer folder (typically 'C:\Program Files\UFS Explorer'). The modules will be detected automatically on next UFS Explorer start. As alternative click 'Open...'->'Plugins' (on disk partition selection dialog).

After module is loaded, it creates "Import Runtime Software Virtual Image file" context menu option under "Open..." button.
UFS Explorer Standard Access version 4.0..4.3:

Install the software to UFS Explorer folder (typically 'C:\Program Files\UFS Explorer'). The modules will be detected automatically on next UFS Explorer start. As alternative, the module could be loaded from "Genral Settings" dialog, "Plugins" tab.

After module is loaded, it creates "Import Runtime Software Virtual Image file" context menu option under "Computer" object.
Raise Data Recovery:

The module works exactly as for UFS Explorer Standard Recovery, however pay attention that standard Raise Data Recovery folder is typically 'C:\Program Files\Data Recovery' so module installation path should be adjusted.

Module Activation:

You may use registration code for Microsoft Windows edition of RAID Access Plugin - VIM Import to activate both software editions: for UFS Explorer version 4.5 and for version below 4.5.

Trial module copy could be activated at the final stage of VIM import process (after confirmation): you will be prompted to enter software registration code. Alternatively you may double-click module name in plugins list. This will invoke module 'About' dialog. You may click 'License information' link to invoke module registration/activation dialog.
