Update to all UFS Explorer products

The recommeded update that applies to all UFS Explorer products.

New features included into this release are:

• Customization of file copying/recovery process. Now UFS Explorer supports behaviour customization for duplicated files: overwrite, skip or rename, including bulk file rename.
• Other usability functions such as context menu modifications and so on.

This release also fixes several known issues such as:

• Eventual slow program start when RAID component disks are attached.
• Fixed known problems with user interface graphics.

It's recommended to update your software copy.

Update to all UFS Explorer products

This is recommended update that is applicable to all UFS Explorer version and editions, including UFS Explorer extension modules (plugins).

This release migrates UFS Explorer products to newer core functions and brings:

• Update to user interface module of version 4.x products;
• Enhanced deleted files recovery functions for Ext2/Ext3 file systems in version 4.x products;
• Enhanced file recovery functions for Adaptec UFS file system in version 3.x products;
• ZFS file system support to all version 3.x products;
• Other usability and recovery-related functions.

This release also fixes several known issues such as:

• Eventual software crash when processing damaged file system metadata;
• Eventual software lockup when running on specific Windows configurations/editions.

It's recommended to update your software copy.

ZFS support in UFS Explorer Standard Access

Starting version 4.3, the UFS Explorer Standard Access product has limited, experimental support of ZFS file system.
This includes access to files on ZFS disk partitions with support of multiple data sets.

Current implementation supports only standard data compression with LZJB algorithm and does not support RAID-Z configurations.

About ZFS: ZFS file system was developed by Sun Microsystems for their Solaris OS and now is reused to implement large corporate storages and NAS systems. Official support of ZFS file system in UFS Explorer products begins from UFS Explorer Standard Access version 4.3 and will be extended to future version of 'Recovery' editions (version 4) products.
