Supported data storages:
- Any physical drives that could be detected by Windows (SATA/PATA/SCSI/SAS etc.);
- USB and Firewire devices, including external drives, Flash cards and other digital devices;
- CD/DVD, including MacOS CD/DVD with HFS/HFS+ file system;
- Floppy disks;
- VMware virtual disks (.vmdk);
- MS Virtual PC virtual disks (.vhd);
- Parallels Workstation virtual disks (.hdd);
- RAW disk, partition, CD/DVD and floppy disk images.
Supported disk partitioning styles:
- Basic DOS-style;
- Windows dynamic disks;
- GUID-based partitions (GPT);
- FreeBSD/OpenBSD/NetBSD partition maps;
- Unix/Solaris partition maps;
- MacOS APM (apple partition maps);
- Novell Netware partitions;
- LVM partitions (basic support).
Supported file systems:
- NTFS: both NTFS and NTFS5;
- FAT: FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32;
- Ext: Ext2 and Ext3;
- ReiserFS: up to version 3.x;
- SGI XFS: basic and extended. Supported also FalconStor XFS;
- UFS: Solaris/Unix, BSD FFS, MacOS UFS, Adaptec UFS editiosn;
- HFS: both old HFS and unicode HFS+;
- UDF: up to version 2.01;
- ISO9660: standard ISO and Joliet extension (compatible with Rockridge and HighSierra);
- NWFS: all versions supported. No compressed files support.
Additional features:
- Full unicode support;
- Unicode conversion (for non-unicode file systems) basing on Code Page or UTF-7/UTF-8 decoding for each inividual file system;
- Automatic file systems detection.
